1993 Bonnie acceleration problems

Hello I have a 93 Bonneville SSEi that acts wierd it won't acelerate pass 3000 rpms but it will pick up speed between 1000-2000 rpms plus it dies out at sudden stops when my fuel is at a quarter of a tank, and thats hard to tell because my gauges jump and the dash flutters, does anyone know what can be causing these problems listed?

Re: 1993 Bonnie acceleration problems

I have a 92 bonni ssei and i have the same problems. The exact same dash board problem and acceleration problem. I thought it was my catylitic converter but that only help a little bit. I was told by a mechanic that really didn't look at the car that i have electrical problems. I was also told the my trans solenoid was bad. Still don't know what it could be. Can any one can help?
