Engine dies

I start my jeep and it will run for about 3 minutes then die. It won't start for about an hour. it just cranks over in the mean time

Re: Engine dies

I would start with the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
It seems to be a common problem and shows the symptoms you describe.
My son's 89 was doing the same things, this sensor fixed it right up.
