Hesitation or miss under moderate acceleration

2001 Cavalier Z24 82000 miles. Misses under moderate acceleration between 2000 and 3500 RPM's. Is just fine under light or hard acceleration in the same RPM range. Chevrolet said the fuel pump was about dead so replaced it, the fuel filter and had the fuel injectors cleaned. Still the same thing. Any ideas?

Ignore the garage, the more money they can charge you the more they make, mine does the EXACT same thing and idles rough when it is cold, mine is the coil pack module, go to a junk yard that will garentee one, buy a used complete coil pack, and have it put on, and SAVE your old one because the coils are like $150 each new and the coil pack module is over $200 new.
