Completed: Provence Miniatures 1/43rd Suzuki Ignis S1600

Here's something a bit different.
The kit is a Provence Miniatures Automobiles Suzuki Ignis S1600 "Monte Carlo". It is about 3.5 inches long!
Basically resin with a white-metal rollcage, turned aluminium wheels, and lots of photo-etch. The only extras I used were Eduard p/e seatbelts and, although I've seen some people have problems, they worked really nicely.
Paint was Halfords white plastic primer then Tamiya TS16 yellow.
The only problems I experienced was that the decals took AGES to soften with MicroSol/Set but it all worked out ok in the end.
Nice little kit and quite a quick build. I'm looking forward to the PMA "full detail" Suzuki Swift S1600...

Fantastic work! I can only imagine a size comparison; I imagine this little guy could pull up and park on a coaster!

Very nice build, it looks very handsome. Plus it's good to see and increasing number of 1:43 kits here.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but I've also had problems softening PMA decals. I've found that using a hairdrier to warm the decals once the softener has been on for a few minutes can help.

Bit of a strange looking rally car, more like a van! but it goes like stink and sounded superb too. Didn't it win the S1600 class this year?

Very nicely built model, those wheels look excellent for such a small scale!
