Breaks Dont Work Properly
I searched but didn't find anything, but I have a 1990 gt and ever since I put the cam in the breaks have sucked, but just today they did something totally fucked up. I was coming up to a 4-way stop and when I went to press the break pedal, it went to the floor all the way, then came up slowly (when I lifted up my foot), and then the next time I pressed it it was a lot harder to press the pedal down (it didn't go to the floor this time) but I didn't get any stopping power until I pumped them a couple more times. And when they did start to work, they were very very week.
This is the worst time too because i just got a new job. I figure I need a new master cylinder or new break lines or something. I dint know much about breaks though. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks |

What you've described USUALLY means bad seals in the brake master cylinder.

Just guessing, but you say you installed a new cam...quite possibly you've installed a cam that does not allow the engine to build up enough vacuum to run the power brake boster any more.

Hows the brake fluid level? What are the specs for the cam you installed?
