Question Wheel spacer help for 635CSi ?

I purchased a set of Fittipaldi 'Force' 17x8.5 wheels a year ago with the intention of mounting 245/45x17 tires. Won't work, the tire rubs on the shocks. Mounted instead 235/45x17's. Time for new tires and I want the 245's. I need 4 - 5mm. hubcentric spacers with 72.56mm hub size, and accompanying lug nuts. The only other option is to invest in new wheels (preferably not, or stay with the same tire size - again, no thanks!)

Any suggestions.....other than why did I buy the Fitti's?

I don't know where you live, but around here we have a tire shop called LES SCHWAB. Another good resource is the TIRE RACK online. These shops usually have access to the hubcentric spacers you need as well as the shims you seek. My buddy ran down to a good parts house for his shims.

Another alternative is to have a machine shop make you some stuff.

Regards,
Blake
