1994 SL2 How to: Get to and Replace Speakers?
I was thinking about putting new speakers in the car because the factory ones have seen better days. Has anyone had experience in changing out the speakers in this model of the Saturn? Do you have to take the entire door panel off in order to get to the front speakers? How do you get to the back speakers to replace them?
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

yes the entire door panel comes off. for the rear ones, you need to remove the package tray. that is done by folding the seats down and pulling out the plastic rivets on the package tray, 2 on the lip where the seat rests up against and 2 on the top in the middle(mine is this way and i have a 97 and i think yours is basically the same). then pull the trim off the c-pillar, trim between rear window and side window. now you can pick up on one side a little and kind of pull it out, or bend it a bit so it can slide out. then you are at the speakers.

if you are replacing the front ones the screen pops out and the speaker has rivets to take it out
