got a 92 lude with an h23 that has about 250 k on it, so yea,,,,, it's been a looong way. Just now(today) i started hearing a knocking noise coming deep from the motor, which i believe was caused by lack of tune ups by the previous owner. It's dripping oil everywhere i go, like a puddle at a time, and i think that's from a gasket or the rear main oil seal. Don't know if the sound could be valves, rear main, or rod knocking. "I don't know if i need to get under the car and take the oil pan off and mess with the main or rods, or stay on top and just work on valves. I need help, so if u'r here to criticize or just be a punk, don't flatter yourself, but if you're here to help me, please do, it would be most appreciated.
Thank you. -92 lude man- 92 prelude si h23 kyb shocks mht chrome rims megan exhaust cold air intake |

Re: losing oil motor knocking. Could be rear main or rod???
I'm bearly at 160k and am gonna go with another motor as well (JDM H23) . Hearing a very loud knocking sound from motor. I decided to go with the original motor because its cheaper.
