Talking Completed: Black Nismo Z-Tune

I know that the Z-Tune only came out in silver, but I don't think that's the right colour for a R34.
This has been a long build, alot of mistakes and a lot of new lessons lernt on this one.
I started it way back in the end of July 05.
Oh yeah, I've still gotta put on the oil cooler and wipers.
Enjoy

I look forward to your comments
Blair

I love, car looks great in black. I'm going for a white or dark purple on mine. Nice exhaust

Ask and you shall recieve.

The exaust is scratch built from a 1/12th skyline sprue (ish'int that vierd!)
With a Fujimi alloy N1 muffler. (If I see them in the LHS I buy 'em!)
Just took some better pix

Not to shabby! and dont sweat the black, theres no way im painting mine silver, boring. also good first attempt with the exhaust, you got the idea down but next time thin out the clear colors a bit more so they arent so bright.

A+ for effort!

Re: Completed: Black Nismo Z-Tune

Wow, Black is a very hard colour to perfect on a regular scale, but scaled down that far, and looking like glass. That's simply mezmorizing! Did you shrink to paint that thing? WOW. Beautiful job all the way around. Have a chance to get a pic of the engine bay? If the last picture angle was just a little bit higher, I would think it's the real thing. Scratch that, if the picture angle just after the underside was lower, it would look real. Awesome!

Thanks for the kind comments, unfortunately this kit comes as a curbside without an engine. A few more years experience and I will be able to drop a motor into a curbside kit. (Just like HiroBoy)
I just wish this was a real car........one day......some day.

Freakmech: Thanks for the kind comments. I can't wait to see your's when you finish it.
And I will give thining the clear colours down a go next time, I'm still learning how to heat stain.
