Unhappy 98 Cobra blowing fuel relay fuse, + now no spark?

I recently overhauled a 98 cobra with a 01 romeo block, manley piston/rods, with stock 98 heads/intake mani. BBk Long tubs, BBK Hpipe, vortech V2 blower and etc add ons.. neways problem is We started the car for the first time, idled fine sounded great, drove it for about 2 hrs came home turned car off. went back to start the car, but the fuel pump(Walbro 255) would not turn on, it keeps blowing the fuel pump relay fuse, also we disconnect fuel pump to check 2 see if it was bad but it still kept blowing the damn fuse, and now i get no spark from the spark plug wires. we checked all wiring and it appears to be nothing grounding it out to cause the fuse to blow. perhaps a bad ecu now? plz help cars been out'a commission for 4months need it for school lol Would like to break it in and tune it h/e if its a bad ecu I don't wanna buy a SCT chip and have it turn out to need another coded ecu....

Re: 98 Cobra blowing fuel relay fuse, + now no spark?

Damn....that is not always a good thing. I had a car do that to me and it turned out that the stupid relay was bad. Have you replaced the relay or anything like that? Maybe the ignition swith would have something to do with it. Standard wiring in the car? If so I would say get a Haynes or Chilton book with wiring diagram and track out what wires go to the pump and relay...then track what else is on that circuit
