block vs tranny
will a FWD KA24DE block bolt to a RWD transmission?
and on the same note, will a FWD SR20DE bolt to a RWD SR transmission? ive been wondering this for a while and no one seems to know it seems like why would nissan go through the trouble of making a new bolt pattern on the block for the FWD models when they could just match the tranny.

Re: block vs tranny
i could be wrong, but i believe the answer is no...becuasue they did the same thing with the SR motor...SR20de RWD's and FWD's are different (block design wise)

Re: block vs tranny
I think it is the heads b/c the distributor is on the back of the head instead of on the side...so maybe the bock does but i dunno...
