dash light dimmer & 4 ways 96 tracker
I have no dash lights. I suspect the dimmer switch, however, it has 3 wires, black I will assume is ground, the other two "red" wires are hot.
Is this normal. Also have no four ways.. Switch will cut out the turn signals, but wont flash. I can find only one flasher. Do the 4 ways and turn signals route to the same flasher? Im guessing bad switch , but this is looking expensive. Any quick ,easy tests? Thanks |

Re: dash light dimmer & 4 ways 96 tracker
I looked at a 1996 (93k/mi.) today that the turn signals would NOT work with the flasher button down but the flasher did NOT work either. Have you found a solution yet?
Also this gem had a milky substance on the bottom of the oil filler cap. I was wondering if this is normal for Trackers? It seemed to run ok & had good power. Any thoughts? Thanks, Gumby_CT
