Hello all,
Ok so I have a 1995 Toyota Camry 2 door. The engine blew and I am looking for a replacement. I had the idea of putting in a 1995 Toyota Supra Engine in the camry. I would like to know if anyone knows if that would work. If so please tell me so! Thank you for your time, Bigbambino |

Re: Toyota Camry Engine Dead... Idea for a replacement
Supra motors are inline 6's and are designed for rear wheel drive cars. Camrys are front wheel drive cars. I doubt a straight six would fit in a Camry's engine bay. Even if your Camry had a V6, it's doubtful the transmission would match up to the bolt holes of the straight 6. If you want more power, go with a V6 swap or even better, a 3SGTE swap.
