Why was the Talon Hitting the Brakes between Shifts?

For some reason the Talons brake lights come on when the dude hits the clutch. Sounds strange as hell but that's what wrong with it. It's kinda funny cause you can time out the brake lights on the talon with the shifts in the GSX chase car.

So every time that guy shifts, his brake lights come on?

That guy can't drive worth a damn. The second time he shifted, the brake lights were on for almost three seconds, which leads me to believe that he didn't release the clutch for 3 seconds.

Re: SS/SC Vs. 97 TSi (vid)

maybe he rides the clutch for a bit after he shifts? Or he could have kind of a sticky clutch pedal? Hell I have no clue, it's strange as hell to me too.

Re: SS/SC Vs. 97 TSi (vid)

if it was a fwd tsi maybe he was trying to keep from spinning

if it was an AWD tsi, maybe he was being nice to the drivetrain, either way the TSI shoulda had it, turn up the boost man...GRRR

Re: SS/SC Vs. 97 TSi (vid)

Looks like the TSi wasn't in the power band when the Cobalt took off.

Oh well for him.

I wouldn't say the tsi would necessarily beat the ss, but I do imagine it would be even with the ss. I wouldn't call that an accurate representation of a tsi with those mods.

well the cobalt beat the other guy with the se-r down here, by 2 cars from what i heard. 20-115, he says he only has an intake, but i think he has more done.either that or the se-r driver messed up or his car is messed up.
