Rear window problem on 99 yukon
I have a 99 yukon SLT and the rear door windows only go down about 6 inches. I realize this is a childproof option on this car, but is there any way at all to change this? I have considered replacing motor and track but will that even work with the shape of the door? Any suggestions would help.

Re: Rear window problem on 99 yukon
Im not sure if the windows can go down too much further due to the door shaped the way it is to allow for the wheel well. You might be able to fudge a couple of more inches by either moving the limit switches on the assembly inside the door or fabricating some sort of bracket to move the entire assembly down and adjust the top limiter acordingly. This is all hypothetical though as Im not too familiar with the rear door power window set-up on the Yukon/Tahoe.
