Droppin' in to say Hey

I'm fairly new to the forums, but have been browsing about for the past week and a half, and decided i'd go ahead and sign up and share my builds, as well as learn some new things.

I've been building planes, helis, cars and bikes for about 9 years now with plenty of modification and scratchbuilding to boot (since box stock is rather tiring.)

Anywho, just wanted to say hi to all and share with you my current stock of builds, and look forward to starting up a WIP thread, since there seems to be an alot of positive feedback and helpful posts.

Welcome! We are looking forward to seeing some of those kits built! Be sure to check the FAQ. I`ve learned alot from it.

Re: Droppin' in to say Hey

thanks for the warm welcome. i bought most of my kits from hlj back in 2002 (when they actually had some models in stock) and haven't touched them since.

i love my Lancer kit. it too is untouched, with all the parts still in the bags. unfortunately, it was without the instructions/decals, but only cost me $2 at a yard sale. someone was kind enough to do a high-res scan of the decals, so i could get them printed out.

Hey and WELCOME!!

I have all those great kits (bar the C-West RX-7). I was dissapointed by the Veilisde MR-2, but somebody on this forum made a stellar job of it once.

What kit are you starting/currently working on?? Look forward to some build progress.

Re: Droppin' in to say Hey

as of typing this, i'm working on the GT-R. i've got several mods in mind, but as of right now, i'm just going through painting the smaller parts and sketching out some ideas on paper for possible alterations.

i'll have a WIP thread started shortly.

thanks btw

PS - the MR-2 was a little disturbing, so i cut up the bumpers and skirts to stretch them out, which appears to be the quickest way for me to tackle it. i stopped after that.
