1995 camry drivers door

My headlights are supposed to go off and dome light come on when drivers door is open and ignition off. They do not and also if door is unlocked using remote and left open the door will relock in about 20 seconds. The right door works properly. It is like the car is not sensing the drivers door being open and thinks it is still closed.

Does anyone know if there is a fuse that could have blown or a switch that I am not aware of? Thanks

These switches seem to go out around the same time. 3 of mine went bad within a year.

My 95 does the same thing, took me a few tries to figure out it was the damn door switch. Whenever I would try and see what was causing it the lights would go out, never fast enough to check the switch.
