GTO Trunk Lid Emblem
Has anyone tried swapping the "Pontiac" emblem on the 2005 trunk lid with the "GTO" emblem on the 2004? I think the "GTO" looks 10,000% better...and besides, that's the way it's always been!!! Why some "design engineer" changed it to "Pontiac" is beyond me!!!

I guess it would be easy to do, I myself was thinking of useing late modle stuf on my GTO.

If anyone's interested...
Just get the 2004 Trunk Lid Emblem (GTO) from your local dealer...about $25-35. Use your wife's hair dryer to loosen up the PONTIAC emblem...wipe the area off with some Isopropl Alcohol (it helps if you also have some Budweiser alcohol!)...then affix (damn, that's a BIG word!) the G T O emblem in the same place! Looks Great! Like it was meant to be!!!
