Unhappy directional light not working from time to time

On my 2000 323i, recently I noticed my right front directional was not working (the dashboard indicator was lit as well) but then after awhile, it is working again. This goes on back and forth a number of times now. I bought a replacement bulb, but doesn't seem like there is easy access to the directional light bulb from under the hood. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Re: directional light not working from time to time

Theres a poor connection in the bulb socket or a bad relay (dont know where and what is used on your car, and ir even might not be the relay at all, but some DRL module that controls hole bunch of things.). If you will have to get the bulb out to check the connection, because its most likely the cause.

Dont know how to get in there.
