2000 Astro ABS Brake Lamp

I have had this sporatic problem with the ABS & Brake lamp on the dash that keeps coming on, sometimes it will go for days without coming on other times everytime we drive it. I can get it to go out by shutting the engine off and turning it back on most of the time it does not come back on until we hit a pot hole or go over RR tracks, very strange problem. It has been going on now for over a year and Im tired of my wife B%$#@!( at me about it, I took it to the dealer and they quoted me about 1600. to fix it, they said we need a new EBCM module, like always I think there smoking something. The brakes seem to work just fine even though the idiot lights are coming on....any suggestions???

I did some searching on my own and found this website http://www.modulemaster.com I think this will solve my problem and not get killed in my wallet. I will let you know how everything went, I hope this can help out somebody else in here.

Re: 2000 Astro ABS Brake Lamp

Did the new module fix the intermittant ABS light issue? Mine just came on during this latest rain/snow storm. The ABS is still working because I can feel the shudder when I brake hard on the snow (I know it's supposed to be better but I always disliked ABS, would rather pump the brakes myself).
