Good deal?? or not???
I could get a 89 civic for 1100? The engine has 198k on it but it runs good and the body is fine. The previous owner took it to the quarter mile before. You think its a good deal? Or shall i wait?

Re: Good deal?? or not???
Offer 700. Pay no more than 900. It's good if you want to swap the engine.

Re: Good deal?? or not???
it depend on the local market i know where i am i could get between 1800-2200 for a car like that the dealers would be selling them for 3000. but there are other places where you could pick up a civic like that for 400-500. i payed 1000 for my 1990 civic a year ago and 1200 for my 86 crx two months ago then was forced to sell it for 1600 without the rims it came with

That car has lot of miles ask him to lower it, i agree with clawhammer. Just give him your offer and your phone #, let him call you back. That what i did, my guy wanted 1700 in the begining, i offered him $1000 and also gave him my phone#, Had to wait 3 months and i called him cause the car was still for sale, he agreed to come down to $1100. So my advice try looking around little bit more. Don't rush. |
