Need pics of z31 w/underside neons

Anybody added undercar neons - Looked at Advanced Auto, Autozone, etc, - They list a kit for around $79.00 - Is it worth the LOOK.
(P.S. - Drive hard and rural area - worry about breakage)

imo.. FUCK NO, UNDERGLOW LIGHTS ARE HIDEOUS, you will be made fun of with NO END if you install them and stick around here, or any other forum that's non ricer dominated.... in the world of z cars, any sort of flashy lights are taboo... not to mention ugly

buy a short shifter instead, you'll be much happier with that then something like neons

a short shifter replaces you stock shift lever and reduces the length of the throw on a manual tranny... but i think you have an auto don't you?

wow i never even heard any one try to put neons on a z, i dunno i have neons on my eclipse and they look alright, im not puting any show mods besides paint on my 300zx = all performance this time

some cars look alright with underglo, but I don't think it'd look right on a z... my friend had an 86 2+2 that was gunmetal grey in color with a red underglo... it looked alright, but I mean I wouldn't want it on my car...

Did not this would be a big conversation of subject - I have never seen a Z with underlighting and DO NOT have to start the Trend - I will not if its TABO (not aloud to do) - Like Rocker said I believe it depends on the color - Wrong color wrong car - Grey I believes goes good with the Blue neons - Look at advancedauto.com under neons

I believe you need to make your car look how YOU want it to look, not how you think others want it to look.

^ I do totally agree with that as well, but alot of times people will conform to how others want it to look, just so that they'll be re-assured that their car looks nice. I say make it look how you want to look... I mean blue might look nice, you never know, there's only one way to find out and that's try it, and if you don't like it, than it's not that big of a deal to just un install them... either way others can learn from you if you post pictures.

i am tired of people saying "do what you want, its your car." yeah, thats all good and i respect that, but this is a public forum and if they ask for opinions, they WILL get opinions, weather it is positive or negative. im just tired of hearing that phrase when the person asked for opinions anyways.

Like I said guys not a big deal but you are right Rocker when all I wanted to see is pics - Like it was discussed - Will try it and if it SUX, they are gone, If its BAD as crap and looks good then I started something new for the Z

I can think if alot of good things i could do if i had 80 bucks. And one of them is not buying a neon light kit. But hey whatever floats your boat i suppose. I myself would probally do a tuneup or something with that money though
