GSR hard

I have a gsr head that I would like to use on a 2.0 b20b 97-00 block out of a CR-V. Will these bolt on or will it require machine work. How much hp will this combination produce. I tried to match this head to a b18b1 but was going to cost $2200

Re: GSR hard

the b20b is the same thing as a b18b1, only it's bored out to 84mm (where the other b-seriers are 81mm).

Re: GSR hard

mating a b20 block with a vtec head will be the same as the b18b with a vtec head...both are a bitch...as for how much hp it will make it all depends on how the b20/vtec is setup

It'd still be the same problem, there's no difference in the short blocks other than slightly higher compression pistons (and they're not that much higher compression).

Re: GSR hard

I would love to buy a b20z, do you now were I can buy one for less than $1000. I have 3 motors now and I dont realy need to buy another motor. I would be willing to make you a trade.
