Renault Clio V6

Allright a new project from me

I wanted to build an other car during the progress of the Dodge Superbee so I picked out this simple kitt.

It's a metallic blue prepainted Renault Clio V6 from Revell Metall Kit in scale 1:18

I will build this on straight out of the box. I only use other wheels because the included wheels are too small and I don't like them.
It also got an engine

painted the engine metallic silver butt in real it's like matt chrome

I will let this one dry for a day and than I can go farther with the engine.

Please help to find some good referece pictures of the engine. I needed the colours of this engine because Revell says I only need silver

Re: Renault Clio V6

Very cool! Never knew any Clio kits were available, and never knew Revell made 1/18 kits, good luck on this car. Can't wait to see it finished!

Re: Renault Clio V6

I got it in ''Blokker'' that's an shop where they have sometimes some cheap kitts.

This one was 10 euro. So it's very cheap and it's really worth it

BTW the rims are from a look a like JADA TOY evo8 and on scale 1:24 :P

Update!

chassis painted matt black. Thrunk painted semigloss black (thrunk is on the front).

The engine is finished now, and installed on the back of the chassis.
For people who don't know this car.... the engine is not in the front but in the rear.

The pics are very high close-up so the paint looks a little bitt crappy but in real it's better.

tell me what you think about it.

The next step was to do the interior...

Than I did some work on the body. I put the fuel-cap on his place and did the headlights and the side/rear window is placed.

Now I have to find a way to place the wheels because they're diffrent like the stock wheels. But I hope to finish this model before it's 2006.
