Re: s2000 v. sr20DET s13

Are you talking about the F20C1 vs. the sr20DET or are you talking about the cars as a whole?

Re: s2000 v. sr20DET s13

my friends 240SX w/SR20DET killed a lightly modded S2000 and his car wasnt far from stock...and a S2000 has high compression so it wont like so much boost unless you lower the compression

Re: s2000 v. sr20DET s13

yea i raced an s2000 one time in my 240sx w/ sr20det...it was dope we both drifted a turn and took off...we were dead even half way through third then had to stop...thats what made me so interested in s2000's cause it gave me a good run....

Re: s2000 v. sr20DET s13

they are pricey though and the insurance might make you turn your head around and go back to the 240...you already have a good car I mean it hauls ass and a S2000 cant drift nearly as well as a 240 if your looking into drifting

you can boost to about 12-15psi on an otherwise completely stock engine, on stock compression. it will put you in the 500whp range. you can make 500whp on pump gas if you do it with a simple headgasket to lower compresion. also, lowering compression, you can go as high as 27psi on stock internals for occasional runs, and 18psi daily driven on stock internals.
