h23 TURBO HELPPPP

I HAVE A QUESTION>>>
Will a turbo kit from a h22 fit on an h23? 2.2L to 2.3L. I realize they are closely made and a lot of parts are interchangable, but i need to know if an h22 turbo kit will work and not totally screw my motor over. Will it work? I am the most leary about the boost issue. because an h22 puts out way more high end and a h23 is the torque monster. so maybe i could do a hybrid turbo conversion,...... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Re: h23 TURBO HELPPPP

you have no idea what you're talking about...you can limit the boost and the only issue is the actual fitment of the parts. The boost issue isn't a big deal. You should list the specs of the turbo and what the wastegate is set at.

BTW, what are you using for tuning and what size injectors are you using for boost?? Power goal??

Re: h23 TURBO HELPPPP

yeah i kinda had the same question. I have an h23. and am happy with it but the h22 turbos are far superior to the choices for the h23.

Make a kit yourself its much cheaper, for fuel management you can use a po6 ecu and run uberdata, its basically a free standalone program for hondas, as well is crome, and several others, check out www.homemadeturbo.com it will help alot

I've turbo'd my own car and helped with quite a few others and homemadeturbo is one of the greatest resources for the diy turbo guy, I'm skinnye on there as well, I could build a kit for the h23 for under $700 including everything
ex:
1g dsm turbo mani redrilled: $20
14b turbo: $100 or if you get lucky and find a good one at a junkyard $34
dsm 450cc injectors: $50
www.stealthmodeperformance.com oil lines : $70
junkyard intercooler: $4-$22
charge pipes: $100 from link above
couplers: $34
1 g dsm bov: $20 or upull it yard
1g dsm bov flange: $25 from www.tunertoys.com
air filter: $20
downpipe: $100 local exhaust shops
hose clamps and misc: $50
