Hatchback Civic Cartoon

Yet again, bored at work today and felt the urge to draw.. I had more time to sit down and draw, so i felt like doing another detailed cartoon car..

Here is my progress

Nice clean, controlled linework. Looks great, can't wait to see the finished drawing.

Re: Hatchback Civic Cartoon

Very nice "toony" balance to the proportions of the drawing.

Well, When i am working I am a warehouse/Driver for a company that distributes Solid surface acrylic counter top material. My days are busy when there is work for me to do, But no orders, means no work. Slow days like i have had the past few days, I tend to find myself being bored, so I doodle.. This is a temp Job, Working here to save money for new car and college. For those that dont know, I'm only 20.

Thanks for the comments guys, Its nice to hear motivational words..

I am hoping to be able to get back into doing larger projects soon. I have no space or time to work on any of my bigger projects right now. Just not enough hours in a day to do all the things i would like to do.

once again, thanks for the reply's...

That was a sign, Platinum. You can make him lucky by drawing his Civic EG. He posted pics in a thread once.

Great EK btw. Linework is awesome. Did you use a reference?
I'd really like to buy a Civic next year, I like them very much.

OH! thats what that was, LOL... If i find some time, I will be more then happy to draw his car for him, Just post up some pics, or send them to me (elementskater15).

I didnt use a reference on this one. With all the civics i have drawn in my days, I practically have the line work memorized, LOL. There are a few things that are off, But nothing too noticiable....

Thanks for the reply Knightvision

Ya, A spoon theme would look good.. If i do decide to color it, I will go with the spoon theme.

I drew in the rims and tires, and changed the front bumper outside fog log housing units...
