rough ride... advice please?
I just bought my 1994 Beretta a few months ago. After replacing a bad fuel injector, getting an alignment, and replacing the EGR valve, there is only one thing that bothers me about this car... I live on a mile long gravel driveway... And I can feel every piece of gravel on the entire road I swear... Now my girlfriend has a 1994 Corsica that also seems to have the same issue. I was just wondering if this is normal for these type of cars? Or should I replace my struts? When I test my shocks by standing on the bumper and jumping off, they seem to do fine, but I don't know a lot about cars.

Re: rough ride... advice please?
It's been my experiance that the smaller the car, the more you feel these sort of thnings. Replacing struts might help a bit, but i do not know you would feel less vibration and so forth. However bad struts will make the car hard to align and will affect handling. get them looked at to be sure. A good repair place can check for leakage etc.

Re: rough ride... advice please?
Thanks for the reply. I guess my next question in that case would be... If I will get the same kind of ride by replacing my struts with the same type that my car came with, then is there any kind that I could go with as an alternative that may be higher performance (meaning that they just absorb better than the factory ones)? And how do I know if certain struts will fit right in my car or not? Any advice or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
