Radio diisplay says "BAD"
I own a '95 Ford Escort GT with a factory Stereo/CD player. The radio display says "BAD" and thats it, just "BAD". Radio does not work while in this state, i push buttons and nothing happens. Any help would be most appreiciated.

Welcome to the forum.
The owners manual (stereo system is normally a separate booklet) probably says "BAD" means take to the dealer for service. I'd pull stereo and put in an aftermarket headunit. It's fairly easy, esp if the unit is normal DIN size and not the wierdo Escort oval faceplate.
