Unhappy car shitting out on me, probably fixing to say goodbye to dsm...

well, after about a year of bein with my car and getting attatched to it it decides to start shitting out on me. $700 worth of oil leaks, tranny going out, $2700, not to mention it needs about $1500 worth of body/paint... ive allready got about $3000 in it and i cant really afford top put much more into it, let alone $5000. but my 68' stang is supposed to be ready for paint this fri. and by january i should have it put back together and driving it so im just gonna keep dumping a quart of oil a week in the eclipse, pray the tranny doesnt go out, and wait for the stang to get done before i sell the eclipse...or burn the mother fucker to the ground, burning it sounds really good actually...

That blows, if you were close to me and it was a GSX, I would snatch it up quick! Whats leaking? Re-RTVing or gasketing the oil pan isnt a big deal, and neither is the turbo send pipe or gaskets, whats leaking? You could send the tranny to shep, its only like $400 for a rebuild isnt it?

i dunno, if i could get the tranny rebuilt for 400 id go for it, but the main leak is the cam shaft seals, but its leaking from alot of other places and basically to take everything off the motor to the block and replace all the seals is too time consuming and 700 bucks to get someone else to do it, ill probly just drive it till the mustangs done then slap a for sell sign on it and hope to get 2-3k for it. still not bad considering i paid $1,800 for the car and have really only spent money on the mods
