AE86 from Japan to U.S.

I was wondering if it is even worth it to import an AE86 Trueno from Japan to the U.S. If so hhow much would it be?

It's not worth it, too much money. Are you saying that cause it's right hand drive or you don't know what at trueno is over here?

Eh... I think this guy is an Initial D fan. SO he wants a drift car right? If he's an Initial D fan, then he's supposed to hate the EG Civ's.

All I can suggest is go on some AE86-centered forums and check out the classifieds. There's people selling them, but your'e gonna need to look at different states and sacrifice some money because most of them are modded out for drifting.

Here's my favorite site for the Ae86: www.club4ag.com

Good luck on your search!

get something to suit you and your driving style, whatever that is. Everybody has their own preference when it comes to cars. Get something you want, you're going to be the one in it.

Get a corrola hatch-back, paint it like the Trueno, get "Trueno" emblems from E-Bay or somewhere elce. It will be almost the same but left hand drive instead of Japanese right hand drive.

if you do get a Trueno from Japan or Australia, don't license it on the road, that is the most expencive part of obtaining a forgin car.
