Lightbulb Adjustable Coil Springs (HELP)

I know you get what you pay for when you buy 50 ebay coilsprings.

This is the question.

Do you have to remove the wheel of the car to raise or lower the car. How easy is it? If you have them with on your car without lowering it will the car ride the same? If you lower it 4 inches is it drivable?

Please Answer.
Thanks.

First off, you gotta be patient to get an answer. Many people work or go to school during the day.

Anyways, you CAN adjust them with the wheels on, but it's very difficult the lower the car is, not to mention the weight of the car on them doesn't help. I always pull my wheels when I've adjusted my Teins, just MUCH easier that way. "4 is driveable, but you'll scrap your front everwhere and it might not work if you have larger than "16 wheels, might even need smaller to work at "4.

Re: Adjustable Coil Springs (HELP)

I just recently did the ground control sleeve with koni yellow setup from the great advice from SilverY2KCivic (thanks buddy ). I am able to adjust the height with my tires still on. I jack up the car on the side with the wheel to take as much spring pressure off the suspension. Then i adjust and tighten.

I have a 2000 civic and if you want to lower it more than 2.5 inches you'll have to remove the plastic fenderwell wall and prob roll the fender lip so you dont rub.
