Re: spark plugs and cap on 95 s10 blazer

There's a few threads on it already, but the best way to get at the spark plugs is through the front wheel wells (trust me, taking your tire off WILL save you a LOT of time).

As for the cap, reach!!! It's pretty easy to take off back there. You'll need a torx 15 I think (and I'm probably wrong about that :P)

#3 plug will be a b%*^C, jack the engine up a little so you can clear the steering shaft to get the plug out

Cailen is right, torx t15 screwdriver for the cap... For the #3 plug, remove the 11mm bolt at the bottom of the intermediate shaft and push it towards the firewall. It will collapse into itself (make sure the steering wheel is unlocked) and move it out of the way. 3 and 5 will be easy to get to when you do that. Don't worry about when you go to reconnect it, it's keyed so there is only 1 way it can go back on...

i strongly suggest getting the sparkplug socket with the flex head, it makes #3 easy as cake, and is usefull on all of them+ you dont have to jack the engine up

You have one of those gorgon? Doesn't look like you'd be able to get it out with the plug after unscrewing the plug. Nice find though.

I just use my flex head ratchet.
