Exclamation Dash Needles Not Working Properly

My girlfriend's 98 Neon's dash guage needles seem to be on the fritz. She says that she will be driving down the road and all the needles will drop down to zero. Her speedometer, tach and temp gauges. But that the car still drives fine . . .She said she took it to a place a while ago and they said all she needed was a new battery, so she did that but still happens after the new battery. Any help would be appreciated, any ideas or things to check.... thanks

Take it to someone who knows about the specific car. Your/her problem has nothing to do with the battery. Read this post...

Next time try searching some of the threads or use the search feature. This is quite common on the neon and this question gets asked like one a week sometimes.
