Unhappy 2001 Cougar

My daughter purchased a 2001 Cougar. It did not come with an owners
manual. Now on her instrument panel a small wrench symbol has appeared. Does anyone know what this means? She is not having any problems with the car, and their is a little over 41,000 miles on the car.

that is a maintinance reminder (every 4800 miles) more to remind you to change your oil to turn it off you need to hold down the select and units buttions at the same time until the light goes off. if that doesnt work (because mine is a 1999) call or stop by a oil changeing station they will know- or e-mail me at [email protected]
