99 Suburban brake lights
The brake lights on my suburban are not working. The upper center light works, but the brake lights in the tail lights do not come on. All other lights and signals are working fine and fuses are good. Checked the bulbs and there is no power. Any ideas on where the problem might be?

Re: 99 Suburban brake lights
Try using a Continuity Tester and test the plugs that go into the light board for a short. If there isnt a short then look into where the light bulbs plug into the board see if its dirty. The factory puts some stuff in there to keep them from corroding over time and it looks alot like wood glue. If thats the case then just pick that stuff out with a screwdriver or something of that nature. The same thing just happened to my taillights and that was the problem. Let me know how it goes.
