1994 940 Door/seatbelt Chime

Hello, I have a 1994 940. The door/seatbelt relay will not shut off. It beeps while driving and also when the engine is off and doors are shut. it only stops when i take the key out. Also the chime tone is different.
I took the relay out and noticed one of the solder spots on the circuit board was slightly burnt. I bought a used one and it worked for a week and then the same thing happened. Everything in the car works fine. All the lights and electrical accessories work fine. The car has 34,000 original miles on it as it was owned by my aunt since new. Anyone have a similar problem?
