is this common

in my stealth the g**damn speaker ground wire keeps goin in and out just wantedto know if any one eles had this problem?

I kinda had the same problem (crackling sound) and i found out that it was my Stock CD player that was messed up. Do you have stock or aftermarket cd player??

its the stock one now but for christmas i'm getten a dual with xm and mp3 hook ups and all that good stuff. and yeah its like it cracks then goes to like half volum of what ever i got it set then it will pop back up. and some times the left rear 6x9 goes in and out.

get the Alpine CDA-9851 (that's the one i have, and it is the shit!!)

well one day my left front speakers (tweeter and low range) started crackling. i even faded the music to the rear, and they still crackeld. only thing that would make them stop is i had to disconnect them. my stock cd player worked fine, until i just got fed up with it skipping and sucking overall. so i got a Kenwood CD/MP3 player. but the speakers are still disconnected. i'm thinking i'll just re-wire everything, since its 13 years old.
