1970 Formula rear end swap

Any ideas on swapping in a later rear end with disc brakes or just swapping the rear disc brakes on this model/year.

depends if you have a 10 bolt or 12 bolt rear. the factory rear discs were available on 10 bolt rears beginning in 1979. if you can find an entire axle the swap is easy, just unbolt and drop it in. if you want to keep your axle housing and internals you need to get all the brake parts as well as the inner axle shafts, as they are slightly longer compared to the drum set up, and your axle would have to be a 10 bolt also in order to swap that way.
