the thing is i put my engine from my 94SI in a 4 door 92Ex and now my red line is 6.2 and i need 7.2.....the spedometer in my SI was fu..up so the rest of the car.lol

hey civicspoon are u trting to say i dont know what am taking about .................the old engine was an 1.5 none vtec and the one from my si is an 1.6 vtec so i thing i know what im taking about .........maybe u should read some book about civic and dont doubt my 13 year experience in mecanic please and ty

You're right, your right. You damn crazy Canadians and your weird models I didn't realize that you were in Canada, that makes a big difference. Our EX's have the same engines as our Si's; here in the states. My mistake.

have you tryed the ecu, or r u talking about u need a cluster that goes to 7 to 8000 rpm

are you saying that when you swapped out the engine you swapped the busted si gauge cluster into the 4 door ex so you had the right tach and the speedo is still not working? cuz if you didnt, the speedometer in the ex should be fine. if you did, its really easy to go to a junk yard or ebay or something and find a guage cluster you can swap out. or you can put a big ol' honkin fast and furious rpm guage and set the shift light to 7.2. i'd go new cluster. if you have a new cluster and its still not working right, you better make sure your ecu is calibrated w/ the new engine.

Its all good guys i appreciae all your help ,teh speedometer in the ex its working find so its not that bad ,i just thought i could find one in here easy but i guess not.i wasthinking about that honkin fast & furious gauge anyway soi thing im gonna go with that.........
