Transmission
Can anyone tell me what type of transmission is in a 1997 chevy blazer
4x4 w/ 4.3L engine? Also, I have a little mechanical skills and would like to replace it myself. Being a newer vehicle post 1990 I am not sure if they have changed that drastically. Any help and guidance will be appreciated. Thanks |

Also, although I have not used them yet, this site http://www.4l60-e.com/ appears to have some good pricing on quality rebuilt 4L60E transmissions. |

Re: Transmission
Yea, that is what I am thinking too.
If he is getting transmission codes, he might have the ignition switch causing that. mushhhy, what are the symptoms??!! Don't change anything yet!
