For daily driving I love the tein tech S springs and tokico HP shocks(non adjustable). I wish I would've gotten some adjustable shocks though like illuminas or koni. On my hatch it's about 1.5-2" lower than stock. These are fun to drive around town but if you do any track days or stuff like that I'd reccomend something a bit stiffer. I haven't heard any complaints about the intrax springs. Just make sure you look into things like the spring rates and cost. Then figure out what would be best for you, but a little advice: replace the shocks too and don't cheap out on anything suspension related (except maybe strut bars).

Re: civic lowering springs need suggestions
I have Skunk 2 coilovers on my GSR, i think they handle pretty well and they're stiff so you won't have any body roll. They're adjustable so you can set them to whatever ride height you want and raise them back up if you need......
How do Skunk 2's compare w/ the others....????

So would these be suitable for an everyday drive? And also, I'm kinda new to this stuff, but it gives a price for a kit. Does that mean it includes everything I need to lower my car, or am I going to need something else? Thanks |

Re: civic lowering springs need suggestions
i payed $150 on ebay for my 1.75" lowering springs from h&r... they almost feel like stock on everyday roads, but on the highway, if you turn the wheel to the left, it GOES TO THE LEFT... not just the left end poppin up in the air a lil... thats with stock shocks/struts... now if you got the kyb agx, as well as the koni yellows,(think the agx's are a little cheaper) you can adjust the softness or hardness with the turn of a little knob, so, in all reality you can make your car ride how you want it, and with the h&r's it really doesnt effect your camber to the point that you notice it so you dont have to worry about that. im lookin to put 15-16's under mine and it already looks killer with my 14's
im gonna get the agx's right after i get my poly bushings in....which may be till the start of next year.. hope this helps. good luck!

Thanks, gave me a little insight. I think I'm gonna get the wheels first then see how much room I've got and determine whether its even worth spendin' the extra cash to get the lowering components, especially if its just a daily driver and so many of these forums wonder why daily drivers want racing parts on their car. Thanks again euro
