I have an 88hb with a b18a in it custom axel back exhaust the pipe is 2".Also have exhaust manifold an down pipe from a b16. But the mid pipe is stock (88 dx) that mid pipe is killing the exhaust flow right?
What is a good size to replace it with i was thinking 2' or 2 an a quater

well if the axel back is 2, there is no point in goin any bigger than that.... you can't flow any more gases than the smalles diameter will permit through

5" yo! lol naw 2 shound do you b/c as said before flow will only go at the smallest pace but you could do it based on the laws that by forcing more air into a smaller space are in effect creating more pressure thats how irragation systems work, you go from a 3" pipe to a 2" pipe and you get more pressure b/c it's so much into a smaller space.
