Well I was seeing a lot of Pics and so forth on the escalde kit lately so i decided to go get another one and do it for myself. Anyway I just got started on this one today. All I have done so far is the suspension Layin rocker, and got the first couple coats of paint on the body. The kit supplied system will be long gone and replaced with an awesome mind blowing scratchbuilt system. If everything that I have planed for the system turns out right it will blow you guys away. anyway here are a couple pics of the work so far................................*Ryan*

Hey,
Is that arctic blue? What size would you say those rims are? Look huuuge! But if you have it that low, they will be awsome. Good luck on this. Frank X. |

Re: Project Escalade (WIP)
Thanks Frank. The color is actually true blue pearl. And as for the rims, they are scale 26's, and yes escalades can tuck 26's I know this because I have seen three of them in person at car shows here in southern cali that tuck 26's......................*Ryan*

Re: Project Escalade (WIP)
well guys here are a couple small teaser pics of just a very small portion of the front interior cabin work, with some of the system for the fron in it. Nothing is glued in or finalized just yet. The two subs in the center console will be molded in when they are done, and the T.V in the dash will also be counter sunk into the dash. And F.Y.I the subs are not as big as they look in the pics, they look freakin huge in the pics........................... *Ryan*

Re: Project Escalade (WIP)
Well guys another very small update on this one. Not much has been done due to my trip to vegas and then just being lazy the last couple days and not gettin back to my projects. Anyway here are a couple pics of the dash as it sits right now about 90% done, just needs some more detail painting done.....................*Ryan*

Re: Project Escalade (WIP)
Wow i love the two tone on the dash, if you dont mind i would like to use that paint scheme for my dash. I had one question though regarding a part you had, the wheels.... Would you ind filling us in on where you got them because the 24s i have are too small for my liking and look like 19s The wheels you have are nice, and are the perfect size. Keep up the good work man, interior looks awsome, try making a fiberglass subcase for the rear, i made a tutorial on how to do this, it is in the tut. section. Keep up the good work man

Re: Project Escalade (WIP)
Thanks a lot for all the interest guys.
Sideways........ The rims are from The 65 Malibu diecast that you can pick up at just about any walmart. They are really good looking rims and I think they look perfect on here. There are a lot of people that say they look too big and make it look like a "TOY". But in reality they are not out of scale at all seing as how they are true to scale 26 inch rims and there are plenty of escalades out there tuckin 26's. And as for the rear components going into this one, I have some special plans in the back. And I will keep you guys posted when i finally am able to get started on that............................*Ryan* |
