Clutch chattering?

I recently noticed that when I take off in first gear my tranny makes a weird squeaky noise(almost like nails on a chalkboard). What could be causing this?

pop open the inspection cover and look for any shiny surfaces in clutch area. that's where your noise most likely will come from.
