A "go to" menu
AF is great...but the feature i miss most (and one that most other forums have) is a "go to" menu!
ie. down the bottom of the page, a quick drop down menu, with all the categories & sub categories, so you can quickly move between parts of the forum. I just find it a bit of a pain....if i'm in OT for example, and wanting to check the Oz skyline section, I have to go back to the main menu, wait for that to load, then click on Nissan, wait for that to load, then click on Skyline, wait for that to load, then click on Australia section and finally I'm there!!.... unless I'm doing it all wrong and there's an easier way that i don't know about LOL |

As I understand it, the reason the "Go To" menu isn't enabled is because we have nearly 1000 forums, which would make the list for the menu take forever to load.
I know of two things to try to get around it... 1. Set all the forums you like as "favorites" or "bookmarks" in your browser, so they will all be just a drop-down menu-click away. 2. Find the link in all your commonly visited forums that says "Subscribe to this forum." (near the top right) Then, they'll all be listed in your VB Home page. If you go to view that, it will list all your subscribed forums, and mark the ones that have new posts. |
