Intake Manifold Question
Will the intake manifold from a SOHC VTEC '92-95 be compatible on a 1988 CRX SI head?
My Project CRX is currently running a ZC Block and a SI SOHC head hybrid. However the intake manifold runs the original DX dual point inject. So to save cash, I have a SOHC/ Vtec intake manifold system on hand. Can I just take this intake manifold and use it to replace the DX system? I know I have to change the wiring for the additional injectors. So far I know I need the resistor box. Do I need a different ECU and does the distributor have to be changed as well? I'm not sure if the distributor is for the DX or SI. Please let me know what parts I need to change or add to make this swap work. |

yeah..it'll bolt up just fine...you'll want (need) an si ecu as well as the distributor...and the resistor box, like you said.
that's an interesting head/block combo... how's it running?
