I changed my battery today and after i put it back in, my car won't start. It's turning over fine but it's not getting gas now. I've never seen a fuel pump go out this way(changing batteries). I've checked all the fuses i could find and non seem to be blown. Is there any other reason the fuel pump wouldn't turn on?

Re: 93 chevy lumina fuel pump?
After disconnecting the battery, your security module may be no longer recognizing your key. When this happens, the fuel pump will not run.

Maybe try disconnecting the battery again, insert the key in the ignition and reconnect. Some aftermarket security systems you have to lock and unlock with the remote to enable it to start once the battery is disconnected.

Re: 93 chevy lumina fuel pump?
Hmmm.
Over on the Honda Accord forum this guy put rear brakes on his car, now it won't start either. I'm at a loss. You have another copy of that key (in case the resistor got zorched somehow)?
