ETS lite off, and check engine lites

this two recently have been coming on together and just seem to go off whenever they feel like it. do these 2 lites cross somewhere in the electronics of this car?

Mines been on for about 2 years now.
i need a O2 sensor after the cat.
It's about 120.00 and i'm to cheap to but it.
