starting problem

i have a 98 K1500, it has a starting problem, when you turn the key, the starter clicks real fast like the battery is weak, but the battery is not, so i put a new starter on it, same problem, i kept messing with it and it finally started up, is this a problem i need to be worried about or does anyone know what could have caused this, thanks for any information you can give

no power at starter

I agree, it sounds like a power problem at the starter. It could even be the ground. I helped a lady at a gas station where she was having the same symptoms. It would click when cranked. I simply pulled off the ground connector from the starter and put it back. Started up perfectly.
